Professional Independent Financial Advisers, West Yorkshire

Our latest seminar for professional connections

Posted on 18/05/2016

A seminar for professional connections was held at the offices of Eastwood Financial Services on 17th May 2016 and a number of solicitors and accountants from West Yorkshire attended.

Elizabeth Blackledge, an Investment Manager from Ingenious covered Business Relief and Enterprise Investment Schemes. Elizabeth was followed by Dominic Cooney, one of our Chartered Financial Planners who gave an interesting and informative overview of Defined Benefit Transfers. Following the introduction of pension freedoms in April 2015 and changes to death benefit options/taxation of death benefits, Defined Benefit Transfers may be appropriate for some clients and individuals should always seek advice in this area.

Feedback from the attendees at the seminar was very positive and they found the content both informative and useful to them.

We have been providing seminars for local professionals for a number of years now as part of our ongoing relationship with their respective firms. We often have a need to work with such firms, as they do with ourselves and we find that the seminars are not only good for building and maintaining such relationships, but they enable the professionals to remain informed on subjects and issues which may affect their existing clients or potential new clients.

If you are a professional in the Yorkshire area and are interested in finding out more about our seminars, please email or for further information.

All presentations are for information purposes only and should not be seen as advice or a recommendation.
